Join Anna Andersen, Director of The "Taming" of the Shrew, and Janet Lucas, Dean of Arts and Sciences at Peninsula College, as we delve into the realm of women in Shakespeare--as seen through the eyes of the #MeToo generation. A brief history of the plight of women in Shakespeare's time will be followed by an examination of some of his most notable female characters. This evening’s conversation will pair perfectly with flourless chocolate cake and your choice of red or white wine.
