Sequim Valley Lions' Crab Feed

The Sequim Valley Lions Club will host its annual Crab Feed at Pioneer Park from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday June 24th. Whole or half -- Locally purchased Dungeness crab --- along with corn, coleslaw, dinner roll and soda or bottled water. Those who prefer can purchase Westside Pizza for $2 per slice. Beer and wine will also be available. A large silent auction is planned and supported by many of our finest local Businesses. Live music will be provided by the “Old Sidekicks”, a well-known, local Sequim Band. Last year the Crab Feed became the Sequim Valley Lions most successful fund raiser. Proceeds from this event go to provide assistance to those in our community who require help with sight and hearing difficulties. The Lions also contribute to many local non-profit charities. Club members have also built wheel chair ramps for residents within the local community. This work continues. The Sequim Valley Lions Club, which has 29 members, is always seeking new members and volunteers to assist in our fund raising efforts. The Club meets on the second and fourth Thursday at the Paradise Restaurant, 703 N. Sequim Ave. Visitors are always welcome.
