Description
Bring a picnic supper -- we'll provide soft drinks, popcorn, dessert -- and music from the movies, Broadway and the masters of classical and jazz. They come together in Pops & Picnic, the Port Angeles Symphony Orchestra's season-opening concert. Featured soloists include tenor Mark Lorentzen, soprano Kristin K. Vogel, and Young Artist Competition winner Lauren Rankin. Also: The Vocal Unlimited choir from PAHS sings Hoagy Carmichael's "Jubilee," in a special arrangement by Sequim's Linda Dowdell. It's an evening full of heart-lifting music.
