Enjoy a poetry reading on a summer evening with Clallam County Poet Laureate, Jaiden Dokken. Jaiden will share a selection of their poetry, and read works by other poets. Jaiden’s own work is often reflective of growing up in Sequim and experiencing life on the North Olympic Peninsula. A reception will follow the reading. Jaiden Dokken (they/them) is a local writer, ceramicist, stamp-carver, reader, illustrator, and cidermaker. They are an Editor and Reader for Perennial Press, and have published work in Fiction International, Algorithm, Muses & Vices, SpeakEasy, Superfroot Magazine, and Pile Press. Jaiden is currently serving as Clallam County’s first Poet Laureate. This event is generously funded in part by Friends of Sequim Library.
