Novel Conversations is a monthly book discussion group fostering dialogue around works of fiction and non-fiction, exploring world literature in a round table setting. The Novel Conversations Book Discussion Group meets at 4pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month in the Sequim Branch Library meeting room. Being Mortal by Atul Gawande Atul Gawande tackles the hardest challenge of his profession: how medicine can not only improve life, but also the process of its ending. Full of eye-opening research and riveting storytelling, Gawande asserts that medicine can comfort and enhance our experience even to the end, providing not only a good life but also a good end.
