Description
Join us at the outside amphitheater for a presentation titled, "A Look into the Beach Lake Conservation Area Nearshore Restoration Project" by Jamie Michel, Nearshore Restoration Biologist at the Coastal Watershed Institute. The talk will be about a century of nearshore change on the eastern extent of the historic Elwha River delta. This talk will cover the newly established Beach Lake Conservation Area and the role of upriver dams, shoreline armor and nearshore restoration by removal of dams and ¾ mile of shoreline armor.
