Community Craft: Sit-Upons

Calling crafters of all ages, the River Center needs your help! We have heard from the community that our Rainshadow Hall fold out chairs need a more comfortable seat, so we are making sit-upon cushions! These cushions will live at the River Center, and will be available to anyone to borrow during our programming, either inside or outside. Our goal for this Community Craft will be to make as many sit-upons as we can, so bring your friends & family and settle in for a couple hours of socializing and creating. Materials and snacks will be provided. Have old fabric laying around your home? Bring it with you! This won’t be the last time you see this fabric; come back to our events to visit your sit-upon! There will be sit-upon patterns for all crafting levels, and feel free to bring a sewing machine for the more complicated patterns. Come make the River Center more comfortable, we look forward to seeing you!
