Community Contra Dance

Description

Bring your dancing shoes and join the fun during an all-ages community contra dance with caller Sherry Nevins. Contra/Old Time Country Dancing is vibrant, social, and inclusive – no previous dance experience or lessons are necessary! It's fun for all ages, and it's great exercise too. Come alone or with a partner - you'll enjoy reels, circle mixers, contras, squares, and couple dances - and top-notch live music by Master Fiddler Rodney Miller and Alex Sturbaum on guitar. All ages and abilities are encouraged to participate, and all dances will be taught. In case of inclement weather, dance to be held indoors at Sequim High School Cafeteria, 601 N Sequim Ave. This event is generously supported by the Friends of Sequim Library.
