DESCRIPTION:Sign Up for the Learn-to-Sail Course.  Classes begin in March.\n\nThe Sequim Bay Yacht Club's 2025 Learn-to-Sail classes start on March 4. After the five Tuesday evening classroom sessions\, participants will be scheduled for five on-the-water training sessions in April and May in the club's 19-foot Flying Scot sailboats. Classroom sessions are 7-9 p.m.\; on-the-water session schedules will accommodate student and instructor availability. Classroom sessions meet in the SBYC clubroom\, John Wayne Marina building\, 2577 W. Sequim Bay Rd.\, Sequim. On-the-water sessions are all in Sequim Bay.  \n\n\n\nCoordinator John Thompson says the program assumes that students have no knowledge of sailing but have a desire to learn\; it's an adult-level class\, but qualified teenagers may be accommodated. Open to both members and the public. The cost is $500 per student\, with a discount for Sequim Bay Yacht Club members. For more information or to enroll\, contact John at johnthompson77@hotmail.com.
